Brooklyn, NY
Bree Lalor is an emerging Brooklyn-based painter working primarily in oil and acrylic. Her work moves between abstraction and realism, often built from a mix of reference photography and imagination. Bree joined Brooklyn Art Cluster Studios in Gowanus in 2026, and is excited to have a dedicated space to further develop her artistic practice.
Bree earned her A.B. in Art, Film, and Visual Studies from Harvard University in 2018, with a secondary field in Mind, Brain and Behavior. By day, Bree is Head Curator at ArtLifting, where she leads a team of curators and has spent over eight years building art collections for corporate, healthcare, and hospitality clients across the country. She's passionate about ArtLifting's mission of advancing access to the art market for artists with disabilities, and about the power of art to build bridges of connection, heal, educate, and inspire. She's also a singer with the a cappella group Mezzo NYC.
